History:
The Festival started in 1996. It is has been held annually (except for 2001 because of “9/11”) on the premises of the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral (Cathedral). Every year the attendance becomes larger. This is the result of more people becoming familiar with the event and also drawing people from the neighborhood.
Purpose:
The Festival was established as a fundraising event. One of the major benefits has been to encourage all of the youth to the elderly of our Cathedral to work together to promote our cultural and religious heritage.
